Works fine for me. Just place it in Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 3/Mods/Packages, make sure the framework is installed (i.e. Resource.cfg file). If it's not, a quick Googling will help you out (MTS has a tool that automatically installs it for you). Try deleting all the cache files in the The Sims 3 folder if it still doesn't work.

It is just that it injects states and info into a bunch of objects that are loaded into the world, so removing it will leave those objects with the injected stuff but without the mod that has the code to use the info. So that's why a lot of simmers had been complaining about the game still lags even though they've removed KW. I understand now.

I don't want to mess up my whole Sims 3 game by uninstalling mods the wrong way. Thanks! Storyprogression is the culprit. You should be able to just deletete the package file. That's what I thought, a lot of people say that it creates lags for them. I just didn't want to start deleting and somehow mess up my game files.
